Heck, I liked it when I watched some of it, and that was a dub. Dubs don’t usually tend to be good.

Thanks for the answer, admittedly I loved Soccer-animes as child, maybe this would be even a nostalgic experience, who knows, gonna check it out, if I got any time. (and no Filler sounds GREAT)

Yeah its an amazing show,good plot,good characters and very unique character designs,great soundtrack,great character development,great use of drama and cheerful themes,historical references,no sexual themes or heavy violence,no fillers and great artwork and animation  
You don’t even need to like soccer to like this anime :)
