Not saying I totally accept the headcanon, but now every time I watch “Bridle Gossip” I half expect Twilight to say “It’s not zombies, Spike. EVERYONE KNOWS THOSE WERE SEALED AWAY IN NECROPONYLIS.”

Something that’s truly without a mind can’t recognize prey or hunt. Every medium that uses zombies pretty much just makes up whatever rules for them they want. None of it makes any scientific sense, so what’s stopping someone from making unicorn zombies that can still use their magic? Or pegasus zombies that can still fly? Or earth pony zombies that continue running their farms and creating bushels of infected fruit that corrupt the food supply and inject strains of magical zombie plague into-

That’s stupid. Zombies are without minds. The only threatening ‘zombie’ is a follower of Nurgle. That’s a threat.
What if the zombies can use magic too? Use your head, man. Magic zombies. My God.
What if there immune to magic?
Yeah, zombies don’t really pose much of a threat in a world of magic. A nuisance, but not a threat.
