How it looks is irrelevant. If they say it’s dopey alicorn magic, then that’s what it is.
I did say, “when it works as intended”. Even though trying to get any sense of her limits is just not a priority in this series anyway.
And I certainly didn’t say that was the only interaction the two can have. Not that I can think of something better(or something I want more).

How do you get from “can fly and maybe cast one additional spell” to “can do just about anything”? How do you get from “Trixie attempting to outdo Twilight again would be incredibly stupid” to “Trixie attempting to outdo Twilight again is their only possible future interaction”?
It’s debatable because the “alicorn magic” she casts to transform the potion looks the same as the “dark” magic she cast as a unicorn in The Crystal Empire.
Meh. A Trixie and Twilight episode would be very good. I mean come on, i just wanna see Trixie’s reaction to Twilight being alicorn. Being positive or negative. Or may she doesn’t care.
I just want to see them interacting. That’s all.

There’s no doubt about the recent introduction of so-called “alicorn” specific magic into the show.
It’s irritating because it’s been used in ridiculously contrived and convenient ways so far, and adds one more layer to what has become Twilight’s insufferable specialness, for a lack of a better term.
I don’t follow. Explain.
It’s not debatable, it’s canon.
And it’s irritating.
let me futher explain my point, there was an trxie with twilight episode, but they were enemies in that, what they haven’t done is a plot where they just do something together, could be a silly adventure, something fun.
And that stuff you say that “because twilight is an alicord she is out of the everypony league” is complete BULLSHIT.

Rarity had her mane turned GREEN and she seems to be enjoying herself.
Because it will make anypony attempting to outdo her seem incredibly stupid, especially at this point where her magic, when it works as intended, can do just about anything.
And Trixie doesn’t deserve a second helping of that. No one deserves one.

Follow-up: Why would Twilight being “out of everypony’s league” make another story impossible? Hasn’t that been the case since way back in Applebuck Season? All that’s different now is that she can fly and cast specialized “alicorn” magic (the latter debatable) and has authority of office.
