Problem is, he can clearly do EVEN MORE if he was human.
Having him be stuck as a dog robbed him much potential on getting to do stuff.
While the Royal Sisters were handled poorly in Equestria, their human-world counterparts being crapply done is so bad pretty much. I just shake my head in disappointment when I saw the human Royal Sisters brainwashed twice like that.
I know its been like 4 months but my nervousness made me unable to see the comment till now.
And I just felt like I have to reply.
I dunno, sense the ponies seem to act, like adults and are the same size as ones, and when Twilight & Sunset went through they became teenagers. (And teens are shorter then adults like Principal Celestia.)
true but I don’t think there was ever Any indication that the portal also affected the ages of the people who went through it
Granted, the CMC are a bit older in the human world (Freshmen, yet they’re in elementary school in Pony world) and the huMane 6 seem younger then their pony counterparts, (whom are implied to be young adult ponies) so the ages between the worlds aren’t supposed to be the same.
@nightshroud96
I dunno Spike got to do some things, and he kinda helped against Midnight Sparkle.
As for the royal sisters, granted they didn’t always get much focus in the Pony show either.
Iirc they only designate him a baby dragon due to his size, I think the writers said that.
He was clearly older than he looks. Like for quite a bunch of years since he was hatched.
If anything, he’s most likely just around the CMC’s age or even sort of older. And how the CMC in EQG are in high-school, Spike could easily be a Freshmen too at least.
If SOMEHOW he’s younger than the CMC, just say he managed to skip a grade.
I don’t know a lot of American school ages But I think he would be a bit younger than a freshman.
He was literally being called a baby in season one And the 1st movie was just after season 3 so only a year would have passed in universe
No, pretty sure he would be around even more by getting interact with the girls more if he was freaking human.
He could easily be a freshmen or a bit higher and hang out with the girls.
If someone goes “why is that boy hanging out with those girls”, just say “he’s Twilight’s brother, he’s just good friends with all of them there”.
Him being a dog causes him to be unable to do much nor get to interact with anyone outside of the Mane 7 there.
Most of the time I remember, he is just freaking there. Like a prop to look cute and that’s it. Which is not good.
There are also stuff that are actually in the show that made fans like Princess Luna that is missing from Vice-Principal Luna actually. Really, the human counterparts are missing quite some stuff that made them not do justice for the Royal Sisters there.
Edited
I was honestly never bothered by him being a dog. In fact, if he were a human, he would’ve appeared even less, as Twilight wouldn’t be able to carry him around everywhere with her in her backpack, and such. (Reminicent of how Pony Twi’ carries him on her back.)
Plus, he’s kinda cute as one.
I dunno, I liked Principal Celestia, and Luna, and they have their rare good moments, but as I said they hardly did anything either.
And granted, most of the things fans like about Luna are made-up fanon anyway.

How the hell did dog Spike get more attention from the show than the other human Mane 7?
Most of the time, he’s just freaking there like a prop or just absent from many of the recent shorts/recent specials(like Roller Coaster of Friendship or Spring Breakdown). Heck, he appeared in Forgotten Friendship but apparently the special ironically “forgotten” about him with he’s suddenly missing in the climax for no reason(heck we don’t know if his memories were erased too or not. Its freaking hard to tell).
Him being a dog instead of human really screwed him over.
Another gripe I have with EQG(even though I still like EQG) is how the Royal Sisters were done dirty with their human counterparts. Like human Celestia and human Luna just.. don’t do the Royal sisters justice. Heck, VP Luna is missing alot of stuff that made fans like Princess Luna honestly.
Edited
Shame really, and shame the CMC, or other characters hardly got any focus, or got to do anything.
I think that’s one of my main gripes about the EqG series, and why I kinda lost interest in it. Honestly, it focuses way too much on Twilight, and Sunset Shimmer, and barely on any other character. Heck, dog Spike gets more attention in it then most of the Mane 6.
Sorry if I seem “bashing,” I just feel EqG kinda had some lost opportunities, and shame that planned EqG TV series spinoff never came to fruition.
Sorta like that, but without the kabuki makeup. Or, in this case, the class. (Nothing against the CMC, but grace and poise are hardly their strong suits.)
So, geisha?
“Entertainment companions” meaning that in addition to the normal red light district stuff, they also sing and dance?
as you wish
I’m too lazy to dig up an image macro involving Kimura from Azumanga Daioh, so can we just pretend I went out and found one?
just shut up and enjoy your stupid highschool girls idiot.
Hasbro made a new mold for his toyline?
they sure will explode.
I’d watch that, though I suspect giving Zecora a big role in anything might be tricky ’cause of the rhyming.
Heh. :3
