“I had to animate Hitler vomiting up spaghetti, then animate a wild fluffy hog with crazy butt fart attacks for a game.”

@Beatfox
brah… we bee all de crazy. I had to animate Hitler vomiting up spaghetti, then animate a wild fluffy hog with crazy butt fart attacks for a game. Im currently drawing dicks while drunk at 4 am. I’m not sure a sane man would do such a thing.

There are two types of animators.
The humble akward as shit introvert.
or the batshit crazy energetic
i’m the latter.
Yeah… that’s what they want you to think. ;)
Seriously, though, I meant in terms of work ethic. As in, you’ve gotta be willing to work 50+ hours a week sitting and drawing the same things over and over again thousands of times in slightly different ways. Not many people’s idea of a fun time.
I dunno; while some of the animators I’ve read about have (or had) “colorful” personalities, others have been very rational and well-grounded.
You pretty much have to be clinically insane in order to do traditional animation as a career. Or so I’ve heard.
