The clothing and necklace around her neck resemble spider eyes, and the ‘feathered’ details sporting the same stone the necklace uses also look like eyes - but more reminiscent of the ‘eyes’ on moth and butterfly wings.

It’s kinda amazing and fitting actually. Creatures find ways to scare of predators and leave foes second-guessing themselves, and though Fluttershy is no fighter, she definitely has it in her to make threats think twice before attacking.
