Oh yea cus i remember the Rainboom only broke a rock infront of rarity. Wiped whole cloud and everything in the sky… and for AJ she just followed one so i don’t see how it gave a jolt of emotion to all of them.
First season started with Nightmare Moon, it didn’t ended with her.

Your full of it and you know it, the Rainboom didn’t activate her magic, the shockwave gave her an emotional jolt, the same with the other six.
First Season DID end with NM as villain so, lolwhut?
Her magic was clearly shown as vastly more then ordinary unicorns possess. Becoming an Alicorn meant purely she could access it more readily and use it effectively.

Twilight would have never wanted to enter a magic school if it wasn’t her passion and she said herself that her passion was magic.
She didn’t always had that magic level since she couldn’t do shit until Rainboom which is a really powerful magic even and most likely more then Twilight herself.
Faust left way before what we have now happened and what she had planned was Nightmare Moon being the villain of season premiere final if you allow me to remind you.
And no the only difference is not that, since she’s an alicorn, her magic level got boosted

Sorry i won’t believe any Alicorn magic since it was shown she used Dark magic to activate that potion when Sombra wasn’t even an Alicorn.
Another reason why Season 4 premiere was bullshit.

There is a difference between having Faust saying that she will replace Celestia one day and how the staff that is in command now does it. This is clearly not how Faust would have done it as its filled with plot hole and incoherence.
Also the show staff completely ended up ignoring that Twilight didn’t even graduated magic school at all and that Twilight’s ambition was to be a mage which is working hard to achieve a level in magic that now is simply gave to her on a silver dish.
Its why i think they really done it badly when it could have been great.

All you have to do is be born as a purple Unicorn mare with extraordinary intelligence and a gift for magic.
If you can manage to pull that off, I guarantee that you’ll become an Alicorn.

Celestia said the “new magic” is what proves Twilight is ready to be coronated. And you gather from that it’s the only reason?
And can you describe some way that Twilight would succeed Celestia that you think would be deserved and that you think Lauren Faust was referring to in that interview?
