Yeah, it came out back in late-2009. It even had an improved custom-track mode, an online mode, (which sadly is now disabled thanks to the old GameSpy “Wi-Fi” service being closed down) and unlockable bike colors as rewards.
There’s also a 3D Classics version of the original NES Excitebike for 3DS (via download from the Eshop) which has pretty cool 3D graphics added, a wider resolution, and also improved the “design a level” mode so it’s easier to use. (Even lets you save up to 32 tracks.)
Wait there was an Excitebike game on Wiiware? How did I miss that?
I’d accept that, I actually loved the WiiWare game “Excitebike World Rally.”
Sense SSB kinda popularized “Ice Climber” I am surprised they haven’t done a new one yet.
Or even a new Excitebike.
I’ve gotta be careful, tho. I’m obsessed about collecting stuff, and if I don’t pace myself, the Skylanders can put a serious drain on my money.
Also, I’m looking forward to seeing what Nintendo is unveiling. I’m particularly looking forward to seeing the new WiiU and 3DS games.
