I do now.
You do know this is an edit of another pic, right?

If this vapid Tumblrina wants an education on how it’s MUCH MUCH MUCH more likely that Twilight is white than anything else, let’s do this. But I know she (it’s ALWAYS a she) won’t listen, despite the fact that I’M black and have WAY more life experience than this sheltered sixteen-year-old that lives life through a screen and thinks that there’s an invisible patriarchy keeping down, and she’ll simply write me off as another white (that’s the first word out of their mouths when you disagree with them) racist that’s perpetuating the war on wymyn.
Yeeaah, I AM thinking about this way too much, aren’t I?
I think you’re thinking about it too much, trying to tell us which fiction is more fictional than the other fiction.
Check my reference.
Well, except for things like “Gilda is RD’s ex-girlfriend”. Or “Fluttershy and Ranbow Dash tried It once in flight camp.”. Then it’s headcanon.
Prove it
I don’t think shipping is headcanon. It’s more into light AU, and still CAN be done without OoC with any pair if played right.
That is true.
Also, headcanons are NEVER canon, unless they become canon, at which point they are no longer headcanons.
Rule #0 of Headcanons (if there isn’t one already, I’m making these up as I go along) states: All headcanons are that person’s headcanon only. If a person decides to post it in a public place, (i.e. Derpibooru, Tumblr, etc.) it is considered an implicit agreement to open said headcanon to all comments and interpretation, both good and bad.
Rule #0.5 of Headcanons: Said comments and interpretations of headcanon are themselves open to commenting and interpreting, both good and bad.
Rule #1 of Headcanons: All headcanons are automatically considered non-canon. If a headcanon is canonized (whether through explicitly showing it in canon material or as stated by someone who works on the show), it is no longer a headcanon, it is simply canon.
So, what do you all think? I’m not sure whether to switch #0/#0.5 with #1 or not, since I’m not sure which is the more “over-arching”, as Rule #0s tend to be. (like the classic D&D Rule #0: “The Game Master is always right.”)
Should I add “ships” to Rule #1? How much would that actually cut down on shipping wars, if at all?
How long do you think it will be before someone tears this apart looking for loopholes and gives me crap about them?
Unless it’s in the real world, it is all AU.
If you publicize it in a public place, however, don’t be surprised when everyone else turns their own headcanons on you and open fire. Canons are meant for firing after all.
And for sinking ships.
well yeah but still
Headcanons work better when they hold some canon balls.
If it’s contradict, it’s not headcanon, it’s AU canon.
@Background Pony #FB77
Not so. The Fiction Identity Postulate states that every headcanon is exactly as real as the canon - that is to say, it’s all fictional. Your headcanon is valid even if it goes directly against canon.
@DanielTepesKraus
That’s this color
Look at it. At the privilege. All that yellow.
