Headcanonly, it could be possible that Ahuizotl is kind of an evil in the past. As it’s explained in the RL myth, it’s possible that he is connected with deites as said in the codex and Discord (suddenly) knows him… :P
 
Want to see more of him this season IF, there’s another episode of Daring in it…

I think Putting Your Hoof Down was worse than SAYS, definitely. I’d put MMC at the absolute worst, Dragon Quest at second (Because it sets up to answer a huge question then just chickens out, and there’s the whole ‘Spike judges an entire species by a few dickhead teens thing’ which is just shitty IMO), and Putting Your Hoof Down at third.
 
Note that I’m not saying they’re overly bad, just a huge lapse in quality from the other episodes. IF a show’s worse crime is having a few episodes that “aren’t that great”, that’s pretty good I think.

That’s the reason why I love him so much. He’s one of those villains who can be threatning, but does not have a god-like power. Something that ALL people in this fandom is focusing nowadays…

In my book the „honor „of being the worst FiM episode goes to „Spike at your Service“ the episode who butchered Spike’s character and turned him into a bumbling idiot, even the return of the timberwolves couldn’t save it.
 
Anyway back to Ahuizotl: I would love to see that guy as the main villain in a two-parter. Sure he’s pretty weak compared to the likes of NMM, Tirek or Discord and doesn’t seems to have any magical abilities but he doesn’t need it. What makes him so dangerous is that he always seems to know where to find powerful relicts that can be used to cause great harm.

Yeah, SAYS wasn’t the worst in the series I think but I’d have definitely scrapped it out of any season three episodes to make room for MMC to be a two parter. Honestly, the entire swapped cutie mark plot itself could probably fill two episodes.

I too think Ahuizotl and Discord should be boyfriends.

I wouldn’t say that it’s the worst episode (because seriously, Spike at Your Service), but I will say without reservation that MMC is the most badly botched season finale of the show. It needed another episode, badly. Why they didn’t just scrap SayS in order to give MMC the second episode that it needed, I’ll never know…

I still think the worst episode by far is Magical Mystery Cure. Not because of Twilicorn (I actually thought that was cool), but because of how poorly paced it was and how it was a musical that seemed to consist entirely of the worst songs the show has yet to produce in it.

That’s okay. I don’t begrudge your opinion. In fact, I do agree that AJ’s over-protectiveness was pretty cringeworthy. It’s just that for me personally, the chimera scene was able to balance it out.

it’s how it went with her and Applebloom kinder bored me to hell AJ was acing like a mother to her i did like the fight with the Chimera but the episode no it was the worst in my Opinion

I dunno. For as much as that episode flanderized Applejack, it also won some serious points for featuring that awesome Chimera. And it put AJ in those sexy fireproof boots. Can’t forget that.
 
Maybe it’s just my forgiving nature, but I honestly don’t see any episodes in season 4 that I can call “the worst”. Obviously there are some episodes that are less good than others, but none of them really strike me as outright bad.
 
For an example of a genuinely bad episode (by my estimation, anyway) that can fittingly be called the worst of its season, look back over at Spike at your Service. Ugh…

I loved almost every episode this season. The least was Twilight Time, which is really fillering the season along with Bats, Inspiration Manifestation, Testing 1 2 3, and Flight to the Finish. But those aren’t bad themselves, just… nothing’s up with any with the season arc…

I guess I’m really one of the few people who actually liked Daring Don’t and thought that Power Ponies was one of the worst episodes of Season 4.
