Yeah… I have no idea what was I thinking when I typed that, because seriously… I FELT IN LOVE WITH ANDY’S FLEETFOOT! AND FOR ME TO LOVE SOMETHING HE DID…
By “Spitfire”, do you mean Fleetfoot?
I imagine that they planned to go public with the mirrors eventually.
Why do you say that Sombra’s world focuses more on science? I think the montage in issue 17 is meant to show a variety of different worlds.
(Obligatory mention of Fluttersaurus)
>issue 19
…I guess I could have just said “this issue”, since it’s the same issue as the one that the image we’re commenting on came from.
In issue 19, Sombra says “when your Luna returned to the throne, ours turned to the dark side”. I took that to imply that she automatically became evil when Luna became good; and that in issue 20 they have to somehow find a way to break the link that’s controlling her (and possibly all the other opposite counterparts).
(As for Discord and Trixie, maybe it’s an “opposite of neutral is neutral” situation.)
“All”? A lot, maybe, but not all the magitek that they had before (and made use of to create) the mirrors, or anything they developed (redeveloped?) after the mirrors were closed.
That’s the headcanon I’ve always stuck with. That could explain the differences in personalities from various characters, like Spitfire being a cute stalker and not a douche (Only time the comics have done a character better), and Luna acting like a bratty child with new bows and not like the royal keeper of dreams.
That seems very risky and stuff…
Pony: “I have discovered coffee!”
SSTB: “Puh-lease, I had coffee since I invented inter dimensional travel.”
Pony: “Wait, what?”
That reference.
You. I like you.
Didn’t knew that, thanks. It’s a relief, I am glad the comic keeps the continuity going strong.
I do like how the comics do explain why Celestia and Luna didn’t use the Elements of Harmony on Sombra in the first place; their friendship had gotten strained to the point where they weren’t able to use them effectively anymore. (Also like how Good King Sombra’s world focused more on magic science than magic magic too.)
same,I really don’t see anything “glaring’ off.
I’m afraid that is just a screw up. In cases like these, I just assume that the show’s canon takes precedence over the comic.
That would actually be really, really funny.
I would totally go for that.
Celestia: Interdimensional Husbando Stealer!
That is, jealousy over the perfect goody two shoes Princess Celestia, that just appears out of nowhere and steals her beloved Good King Sombra while she remains as an unlucky childhood friend.
She being a friend of Sombra for so any years but without courage to reveal her feelings, with the impact of seeing how Sombra falls in love with a Celestia that came from nowhere, and with a little taunting from Evil Celestia, SNAPS!, “Evil Luna before she was evil” becomes Evil Luna.
“That pony knows his priorities.”
In this moment of Celestia life, we are supposed to believe that Luna is already imprisoned on the moon, yet in the show Sombra banishment was done before Luna imprisonment.
Wouldn’t be surprised if that screwed it somehow.
