I think the moral was more about the cycle of bullying and how trying to get back at someone just makes you a bully yourself.
It’s true that telling an adult doesn’t always work, so it’s important to tell one you trust. Unfortunately not all kids have relatives as strong and devoted as Applejack.
it was a double moral too, for babs, that she didint needed to be a bully herself in order to feel accepted and not look like a weakling.
Some people just are progressive, and don’t need to try to “look” that way.
Besides, the moral of One Bad Apple wasn’t “Don’t bully,” so much as “If you’re being bullied, tell an adult, because they’ll totally always help you,” which has… mixed results in real life, depending on how attentive your parents and teachers are.
