Of course, after saying all this… Princess Celestia is probably going to end up with Braeburn or something come S5.

Of course death doesn’t have to stop it! After all, another thread they might pursue is too kill of Celestia in the show so Twilight Sue can ascend to her rightful due (and sell more toys), while in the comics Celestia and Sombra can continue their epic level adventures in the outer Lawful Good planes… maybe even… wait for it… on Mount Celestia! In the comics, of course.

And, after old Evil King Sombra comes back from the dead via shenanigans and reforms his nefarious ways, he and Celestia can continue the Celestibra ship in honor of Good King Sombra’s noble sacrifice.
