Considering Discord’s VA and the whole documentary thing, this edit is just bukken hilarious.
OH MY GOD! Next you are going to tell me that Darth Vader is Luke’s father. But that’s impossible.
But seriously how the hell were some people surprise about Tobi?
And did you know that Alucard is draculA holy shit no one has ever noticed that on their own
I’m not saying the show is bad because of its fanbase. “Noob Anime” is just my own little term I have for a few animes.
Dang I forgot to spoiler text. My bad. But seriously it is so damn obvious. Is Tobi being Obito all over again. And I don’t think I had to spoiler that.
If you want to not seem like you’re attacking something / are joking around, it’d probably be best to voice your distaste in a manner implying you do not like the thing, rather than implying the thing sucks outright. Most things in entertainment are completely subjective when it comes down to it, anyway– though it’s an OBJECTIVE fact that, in Japan, animation as a medium and the people who work on it are still given much, MUCH more respect than in the west, so from that fact alone it can be gleaned that the quality of the animation, writing, etc. tends to be superior and taken more seriously, and it should never be inferred that anime as an overall medium ‘sucks’ although the general feel and content certainly don’t appeal to everyone, and that’s fine.
@chaos15
And if there’s one thing worse than someone assuming an entire medium of entertainment is ‘bad’, it’s someone assuming a series is ‘only for newbies’ due to its popularity. Its popularity stemmed from the fact it’s gripping and intense with its portrayal of an overall quite realistic renaissance-era Europe united in one city-state against imminent doom, with the only fantastical elements that turn most people off frankly offering only a tiny, extremely volatile glimmer of hope. Basically it’s a pretty cool interesting thing that just feels like a breath of fresh air and even if it’s not the most perfectly-written piece ever crafted by mankind it’s very entertaining.
P.S. it’s really not cool to give spoilers for a thing in a public comments section like this, just sayin’.
Is one of those animes people start with or one of the few animes some people will watch. And because of it they think is better than it actually is and actually pretend that Annie being the Female Titan was an unexpected plot twist.
Why is it a noob anime?
Ok.
I was mostly joking anyways. Jesus dude, don’t get your fucking socks in a twist.
It’s still discriminating against a fandom. The way you go about doing it is better, but it’s still the same idea.
I’m really not though, Notice I don’t call anime fans rapists or spread awful rumors about them, just insinuate that the shows they watch are dumb.
Especially reason. They appear to have a similar level of technology to Amestris, but I bet even normal non-alchemic humans from that could wreck titans’ shit, ‘cept maybe Annie and Reiner. The normal titans are pretty dull, and the humans must be even dumber at tactics if they have such trouble with them. It just feels like everyone is intentionally made as stupidly heroic as possible so that they (in some cases literally) leap into the jaws of doom to rescue a fewer number of people. That’s some damn fine self-preservation they have going for themselves there. Well, come to think of it I guess it is like a zombie movie in that everyone seems so damned determined to wind up a snack.
Anyway GuP is pretty much tank-nerd heaven. The lolis actually take it seriously, and there’s no shortcutting, nobody doing the actual hard things themselves, although shells are smaller and less powerful so that they can actually load the damned things. Also the Russian school sings their ‘fight song’ of sorts before a large engagement. (naturally like everything else on the internet, it got ponified) Anyway, they use erratically hyper schoolkid variations of real tactics, so that’s pretty neat, they have a couple hilarious fails, especially by the protagonist school’s hotheads, and also in episode 11 the german school sneaks a Maus into the battlefield when it’s only supposed to be for fielded tanks, but they neglected to restore the sights or finish the cupola in their haste so it has terrible accuracy since they are mostly just guessing. Still, it’s an effin Maus)
When you get right down to it, saying it’s ‘world of tanks in school’ isn’t far off the mark.

Attack on Titan isn’t so much the next Naruto so much as it is the anime equivalent of The Walking Dead. Mystery, suspense, melodrama, and ultra-violence galore. I’m a fan mind you, but even I can tell just how outrageously transparent and tactless it is. But, that said, I can still manage to care about the main cast and get hype over the fight scenes, which is more than I can say about Naruto.
I haven’t seen GuP yet, been busy with Kill la Kill. That shit hype?
You’re doing the same exact thing to anime fans that anti-bronies do to bronies. Don’t. Just, don’t.
Literally nothing makes sense at all, there is little to no lore about the actual world, author just keeps going on about “JUST WAIT I’LL TELL YOU LATER, ALL PART OF THE MASTA REVEAL!” but each new thing just makes the previous thing even goofier (like how so many recent narutard villains have faaaaaaaaaaaaar back previously unstated childhood connections with no foreshadowing whatsoever), the anime’s season finale with the crystal cocoon comes way outta left field, not to mention it’s gotta leave a sour taste in the sensible fans’ expectations since it is more than likely the start of a face-heel turn next season due to villain trauma, for a villain who annie-hilated much of the supporting cast during her own appearances, and practically had no reason to do so.
It’s just one big ol’ Michael Bay-ish confusing mess of ‘cool fight scenes.’
I would love for that to happen just because how angry Attack on Titan makes me. Attack on Titan has become what I like to call a “Noob Anime”.
Also I didn’t realise til I found that last pic how much Zebra looks like a Titan, especially in the manga, but I’d really like to see him tear the hell out of everyone in AoT for the hell of it. The dude is practically invincible already, so Titanised…
(yes, he just punched out a turtle the size of a mountain)
Hell yeah it is! I went in for the cute but dang it I wasn’t expecting to be that good.
Speaking of good loli animes
Wait does Madoka Magica even counts as a loli anime?
I actually found Yukikaze boring at times, but goddamn the designs on those planes
I never said anime, dummy.
