It’s considered adorable when we see these two in unexpected situations, due to the 5th law of adorability.  
 
In this case, we see the stately and composed Celestia acting sugary and motherly, and it’s interesting seeing Discord who usually doesn’t care about anyone else’s feelings suddenly caring a lot about his wife and/or kid.
 
Granted, I’m not entirely on board this shipping, mostly because I don’t think Celestia and Discord would be a good match and that Discord would look for romantic love. but I don’t deny it’s valid, or hell, it seems close-ish to canon since Nicole Oliver is a Dislestia shipper.
