How is the “smart guy” wrong? He never claimed there wasn’t porn on the net. Quite the opposite, in fact.

Pretending that the MLP fandom doesn’t do a great job of hiding the porn is just outright lying. Tumblr is a disgusting scum pit and finding porn there is horribly easy, but porn is far from the worse thing you’ll see there.  
Google images gave me porn for disney movies when I looked them up as part of a school project roughly 10 years ago. And it did scar me a bit… So I am just as worried at the idea of children finding such images. But it is just not true that the pony fandom is unusual in that aspect. Bronies and are fandoms have been working together for a while now to try and clean up Google images. But Tumblr is beyond help and no-one of any age should go there.
 
Both the “feminist” and the “smart guy” are wrong in this. Both are misjudging an entire fandom. Both should feel bad.
 
Also Derpibooru is a good alternative to Google images. If your little sister/brother needs to look up pony images, this site’s safe.

I must add, I think it’s shallow to judge the entire fanbase, on one site being a bad experience. One website doesn’t represent the entire brony fandom.  
Alot of those internet trolls who make racist comments just do it, because it’s the easiest way to upset/offend/troll people.
 
I remember hearing on the local news a guy was calling up black people, and making racist remarks/threats to them. When the police tracked him down, (at first everyone thought he was going to be a white guy) but then it turned out that it was a black guy trying to troll…  
Hilariously, the court still ordered him to take racial-sensitivity classes regardless.
