there’s at least 3 things wrong with that one example, but anyway, I’d also like to share my laugh at your attempt to racist-ify this image and people thinking the pony might be asian from the looks of her eyes, by saying Applejack is a Jew.. Those two things are obviously one and the same thing.
 
in other news, Big mac and Applejack aren’t remotely southern, they’ve always been jews and that’s what we’ve always thought of them, all without even thinking about them that way.

All this anguish over pretty pretty ponies, and I’m just over here trying to work out how the artist did that hair.

This image was featured because it’s a nice, quality image that the site’s staff determined should be showcased. It was not featured to start a debate about stereotypes and racism.
 
So with that in mind, can we please not start a debate about it that’s likely to end in drama and insults, and instead just enjoy the art?

You’re right! As a Mexican, I am truly offended that they think the Mariachi Band ponies are Mexican! They’re obviously of Russian origin!
 
Only a racist thinks so much about racism. Zecora is black, not because of us saying she is, but because her VA is black and she is obviously full of African culture. Applejack is a southern American, not because of us, but because the show has given her a northern Texas accent and she’s an honest farmer BASED on the South’s farmers. This pony is obviously Asian by her clothes and the style the SHOW gave her. It would be stupid to deny the obvious. That’d be like saying Photo Finish is not German (when she has a German accent and is based OFF of a German Fashionista) simply because I don’t want to. He looks like a duck, quakes like a duck, eats like a duck, and swims like a duck, it’s most likely that he’s a duck.
