You know, I do wonder why this word has lost all meaning in rich countries. Is it that they have so little problems they need to invent new ones?

While people seem to go out of their way to avoid taking responsibility for anything anymore, I must admit that the author using someone else’s IP as a personal mouthpiece still nettles me a bit.
 
As for patriarchy, yeah, women are (overall) still facing a stronger degree of oppression in many areas of U.S. society than men, sure. The fact that men are favored is simply a natural consequence of a system set up by old, rich Englishmen to favor old, rich Englishmen. Not sure why people keep finding that so surprising.
