@Tumblr Feminism Is A joke  
I don’t think the original person who made these (Twilight Sprinkle) was using these originally on her tumblr to troll, but to merely rebuttal Rarity-haters’ usual reasons, or excuses to hate-on/bash Rarity, and show examples in the show of her positive personality aspects.
 
Rarity is one of the more misunderstood characters, and sometimes I do still see people say things she’s a “selfish bitch,” or a “typical cartoon girl snob character,” and such, so I can see why some are quite defensive of her. It’s like some people only pay attention to her negative character aspects, and not her positive points. Rarity actually has some depth to her character, and there’s more to her then just making dresses, and looking “pretty.”
 
Though, admittedly I can see why people are downvoting this, as the Rarity-hate has died down lately. It used to be pretty bad in the Season 1 days, but nowadays Rarity seems well-liked, regardless of her haters.

Yeah, that is exactly the case, but I still can’t shake the feeeling that it’s stupid.
 
I mean they WERE their elements long before they even knew each other and they demonstrated their element before they even knew they were for real.
 
I mean, yeah it’s cool to deepen the characters through some doubt and inner conflict, but the way they executed it is just meaningless.
 
They acted like their “element” throughout their entire lives. Then they got a necklace with pretty stone and AFTER they lost it, there was suddenly nothing forcing them to uphold the ideals they were honoring since they got their CM?
 
Not a bad idea, but badly executed.

Since they lost their “elements of harmony” most of them acted out of character.
 
Rainbow Dash abandoned her friends for personal advantage.  
Applejack was lying and helped scammers.  
Fluttershy was emotionally blackmailing and manipulating her friends.  
And Rarity… well Rarity was really generous for the very first time.
