Yeah, it’s clear from the other commercials that Tirek starts weak, but ends up sucking the energy out of ponies to restore himself to his original form. What you’re seeing there is the newly-escaped-from-Tartarus-depowered Tirek.

I can’t, for the life of me, peg his voice actor. He really does sound a little like Maurice LaMarche.
 
And I’m starting to see where others are coming from when he seems like Rafiki from that angle XD

I think he powers up.

I’m not quite as sold on the frail design, unless he gains a power up later, but I do like the Baboon face, and the fangs we see later.

I believe they had several of their anime theater videos muted/removed as well as the length of their uploads cut because they got a copyright claim slapped on them.

So now they are of course here, minus Anime Theater. That’s on their official site, and I think because of it they may not have any more Anime Theater plans.
