You’re calling someone a dick for being bothered by poor English on an English speaking site. His irritation is not something he should be ashamed of, it is you attacking him that should feel shame.  
But then neither of you are being helpful either. When someone makes a mistake like this commenting on it or just accepting it are both the wrong action. You correct it.
 
So, to Augy, the correct way to say it is “Was this dog tasty?”.
 
 
Going back to the picture itself, that dog really did Rarity a favour. Having those gems pass through her system would have been very painful/lethal.

So if you could honestly prove someone crawled down your throat on their own, would you be off the hook or would that just downgrade it to manslaughter? (Ponyslaughter? Dogslaughter? Whatever.)
