I seem to think of her as half-WASP and half-Japanese, but I don’t begrudge others their headcanons.
Some people are natural, others may take practice.

Hmm, Silver Spoon’s VA is of Chinese-Canadian descent - so maybe Human Spoon is, too? That’d explain why she got so annoyed at Diamond’s Chop Suey comment!

I prefer to think of it that she’s just a giant food-geek and wants the “authentic” experience. Note how she set her place at the table.
Now, why she’s doing that at a Chinese buffet, I don’t know…
Or a Sinophile. Like my cousin in law.
Every “Chinese” buffet restaurants I’ve ever been to, all have pretty much the same foods.
Chop suey is about as authentic Chinese as pizza and chicken nuggets.
