Eh, you never know. People were scared that the show would end when Twilight became a princess, too. I trust that the writers would be able to think of more stuff for the CMCs to do after they get their marks.
After all, I’m sure that the first thing (well, okay, the second thing. or maybe the third thing?) that the CMCs will say after getting their marks will be “…now what?”
Because its an open secret that the show would end by the time the CMCs (if ever!), get their Cutimarks. Thats why…

Look at the item page, it says “Series 5”…the current blindbag series is like, 9 or 10.
To be honest, I kinda hope not if Twilight is involved. She was ok in the beginning, but her Mary Sueness has taken off as of late. That whole S4 finale has me on edge as to the potential of bumping off Celestia.
Actually, if it involved plenty of mythology and world building about why ponies get cutie marks, I would totally dig that.
Maybe we’d finally hear the story of how Celestia and Luna got their marks?
