You know what I love about pia-sama, as a fellow Sparity shipper? She appears to be dedicated to the pairing, regardless of what may, or may not happen in the show. That, people, is what shipping should be all about.
 
Honestly, I find it disappointing when fans bank EVERYTHING on the hopes of their dream couple becoming canon. Especially when it’s to the point where, if it doesn’t happen, they either “leave the fandom,” (a la the more “passionate” Zutara shippers) or they just give up on the ship, altogether.
 
For an example of the latter, there’s an artist on DA, who did some really good Apritello fan art, but because of a brief moment in ‘Wormquake,’ said artist seems to have called it quits. It wasn’t even that bad, really. While on patrol with the Turtles, Casey jokingly asked April when they can go on a REAL date, which she jokes back by saying that it is a real date. Honestly, that wasn’t even CLOSE to being a ship-sinking blow, especially since the writers seem to be setting up this love triangle for something bigger, which will result in Donnie getting epically crushed.
 
Heck, I have a soft spot for Apritello, but once Casey was announced to appear in the second season, I saw Donnie’s chances with April drop lower than Spike’s chances with Rarity.
 
Eh, I’m done. Basically, if there were more pia-samas in the world, shipping wouldn’t be such a hassle amongst fans.

I ship Sparity. With that said, let’s cut all the arguments, please? The fact that age is apparately not needed or othewise expicitally shown, will never will never be resolved. Too many times, age tended to pigeonhole things. The writers don’t want that.

Yeah, because whisking someone away with you as you go on a mad conquest and valuing their praise more than others are definitely actions of just a “friend”.

Perhaps. That’s a legitimate headcanon. Of course, we have no evidence for it in canon. But it is a viable explanation.

one thing I have to ask, does this image count as foalcon? because the way I’ve seen up till now, foalcon is more or less the tag of Explicit works that involve minors in a sexual act, or at least suggestive.
