I think Bit Mash is a better name for fillyfied Button Mash. I says so on a tag. And I think Silver Beau is a better name for coltified Sweetie Belle. After all, Belle means beauty and Beau means handsome.

Hey give him some respect I’m homosexual and I RESPECT his opinion. He said his friends are homosexual right? And he treated like normal people right? Then,why are you calling him homophobic for? Just because some straight person don’t like homosexual fiction is not because there homophobic, it’s because they either feel awkward or uncomftable.  
And, finally he doesn’t want to be part of the homosexual, When jack kellar said that he doesn’t mean homophobicly it means he doesn’t want to get in trouble with his friends’ homosexual.

Not homophobic, definitely. Shit, I’ve got what, five, six homosexual friends where I work and study? I don’t care about it at all IRL as long as I’m not made a move on - I just ignore their orientation and treat them as people like everyone should do -, I just don’t like reading about it in fiction.

Silent Ponyville works just fine as a standalone, especially since I’ve only read a couple of the direct sequels.  
And I don’t see how two characters being lesbians has any relevance, unless you’re homophobic, in which case I no longer have any desire to speak to you anyway.

I’ll pass. Too much of the story’s expanded universe (and it depends on that EU, it doesn’t work as a standalone) depends on you liking/tolerating lesbian relationships, and I am allergical to any media with that as a main point.
