That’s what I just said, it wouldn’t be a cease and desist because that would mean they are already working on it without permission, so as I said “all parties that would be involved turn it down”, can’t have a cease and desist if nothing is started.

Lego’s doing ninja turtles, pirates of the caribbean, star wars, etc. because they were given permissions and the licences to work with them. Hasbro’s not going to let Lego work with their licenses because they’re practically rivals, and Hasbro has Kre-O, that shitty lego knockoff. Lego’s not going to use another company’s licence if they have a lego knockoff brand themselves.

Lego would start it up without getting the okay from Hasbro, and about using another toy company’s property, well Lego makes Ninja Turtles sets and that is Playmates territory.

That won’t happen. Remember last year when some lad tried to make pony sets on Lego Cusoo? It got the 10,000 supporters [or whatever is needed to have it reviewed] and it got turned down because Lego would be using another toy company’s property, which has its own lego knockoff brand.
 
Not to mention that generally anything pony related that got popular enough like Fighting is Magic or Button’s Adventures got a Cease and Desist, even though they were nonprofit fan projects. Making lego pony sets would mean they’re an actual product being sold for money, and that brings in some legit legal issues.
