The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

@Fantastic

Thanks for that, now it’ll be stuck in my head.

@Yurp

I should probably play it then. Still need to beat the vanilla story though. I spend too much time doing side quests and exploring.

Don’t get me wrong, I can definitely see why people are attracted to it.
I just like stuff similar to Half Life, Fallout, and (kinda) Mass Effect.

yeah Bethesda’s stories can be a bit out there, in my opinion morrowind had a far better story the both oblivion and skyrim … skyrim’s wasn’t terrible but it felt lacking

Fallout 3’s story was pretty bad.
I did find the combat fun and challenging, though.
Maybe I’m more of a story guy than an exploration guy. :/

Well lets be honest, people don’t play Bethesda games for their gripping stories.

People play it so they can explore a 16 square mile game world.

That’s not to say the stories are bad though, its just not the major draw for most people.

There’s so much to do that it feels spread out, with each individual thing lacking much substance.
Then again, I really like New Vegas, so I’m not entirely sure.
Maybe I just felt Skyrim’s story fell too flat. I couldn’t really care what happened.

Sometimes the sandbox that is Skyrim can be a bit overwhelming, but too much freedom in an RPG in my opinion is much better than too much linearity.

cough FF13 cough

And yes I know it opens up, after the first 30 hours. Fuck that.

I couldn’t really get into Skyrim. Too much freedom.
On the picture, it would suck for Fluttershy to be in that world. The dragons would scare her so much, and all the woodland critters scurrying around are just begging to get accidentally killed in some way.
