Well, when I looked it up, I found a link to a Youtube video… that showed it wasn’t real. Damn.
After looking it up, I’m not entirely sure it was real. There were screenshots but someone showed that the image was taken right out of DS1 and possibly photoshopped, and nobody could agree on what it took to get the thing to appear.
It was a legit prank by the developers for April Fool’s Day.
Yeah because the icon for the summon and the armour the phantom is wearing is Solaire’s, which isn’t available in game.
You sure that wasn’t just some guy who named their character solaire and got summoned super-quick?
That’s pretty funny actually I can just picture the rage on players faces. Heck I’d probably be one of them
For April Fools in Dark Souls 2 there was a Solaire summon sign that always failed to go through.
