If you’re referring to my original comment it encompasses her maternity and feminity (emphases on both) as a couple reasons. They’re many behind it, not just one.

Mmm… nah. That doesn’t work for me. I really don’t have a large boobs fetish - quite the contrary, actually - but I still think Fluttershy would look better with a large bust.
 
That being said, I quite like the Fluttershy you drew on the left. But the one on the right looks… more right to me.

I personally find the “large breasts are motherly” to be a bullshit argument and it’s only been conjured up to try and justify Fluttershy with large breasts.
 
There are a hell of a lot of other things that indicate “motherliness” that never get cited. Including a general roundness to the whole body.
 
When an artist really wants to evoke the idea of a mother, they’re going to draw someone who is short and chubby all around. Large breasts might be a part of it, but so is a fat stomach and fat thighs for example.
 
And that’s just the artistic aspect of that argument. This is the stuff they teach in art schools, so don’t you dare try to counter it unless you’re a practicing established artist yourself.
 
And on the scientific aspect, a thin mother just isn’t going to be able to provide the same nutrition in breast milk, compared to a mother who with a lot of girth–the implication is that she has a lot of fat in her body to make breast milk with–and fast necessary nutrient in the body that babies need a lot of.
 
Large breasts on a small frame is a sexual fantasy and nothing more. And the fact is, if you really like that, then go ahead. I’m really not one to judge people’s sexual interests. Hell, that’s why I drew this.
 
But trying to justify it with the “Fluttershy is motherly” excuse is a faulty and poor argument that just screams to me that someone who can’t own up to their own fetishes.
 
I mean, really, who thinks of their mother or mothers in general looking like that?
