It’s a shame that Jobs is a well known person while he himself didn’t really create anything himself. The other founder of Apple, Steve Wozniak, who actually did invent stuff almost never gets any recognition. Not to mention that most people don’t seem to even know who Dennis Ritchie is who really achieved a lot like UNIX.  
No, people will remember the marketer. The person who blames the customers when their products are faulty, a person who was apparently a huge asshole to everyone.  
There is no denying that Jobs made Apple successful but at the same time it’s a sad sign of the society where we live in where the brand and marketing is what draws masses and not the people and companies who innovate and create.

Let’s take some solace in the fact that he did see the creation of many of the technological achievements that he dreamed of.
 
And it didn’t just end with his dreams. Many became reality.
 
And you know what? That’s pretty damn cool…

RIP Steve…
