As long as Corey Powell doesn’t pull that stinker of a Rainbow Falls, we should be good. And I hope Ms Mccarthy is able to write Spike well again like she did in the past…excluding Power Ponies.

I know THAT. But unfortunately, with recent summaries, it looks like my main question, whether or not he would appear in anything unrelated to the Equestria Games, has been answered… …Yeah, he’s not going to, is he?
 
I hope he at least gets to have some sibling bonding moments with Twilight during those episodes… We really haven’t had a lot of those. And as I’ve mentioned before, it bothers me that they didn’t even have a throwaway line establishing just why the heck he wasn’t visiting Ponyville with Cadance in “Three’s a Crowd…” Twilight doesn’t seem at all bothered by this, and while the most obvious answer is that someone has to rule the Empire while Cadance is out, couldn’t they have at least had a couple lines saying that?

Remember how a while back, I got a Twitter account solely so I could ask the staff questions about the series? Yeah, so far I’ve asked several questions, and I never got a response from them. …Though perhaps asking them the same questions multiple times doesn’t help, even if I’m not exactly spamming them with it.

Oh, come on, Meghan, you haven’t written a stand-alone episode by yourself since season 2 (I think the last non-two parter for that season she wrote was Hearts and Hooves Day. I think she MIGHT have written Ponyville Confidential, but I don’t remember). As much as I love your two-parters, you need to do stand-alone episodes more often, because those are also some of the best of the series.

Corey Powell’s great at writing Spike (“Just For Sidekicks”), McCarthy’s great at writing Rarity (“Green Isn’t Your Color”, “Sweet and Elite”), so it’s a perfect match for this episode.

I can’t wait for all the rabid anti-sparity dudes to claim “OMG WURST EPISODE EVAR!!!!!!”
