I don’t mind anthro on its own, but I want pony ponies. It took a long time to even bother with humanized, but sexy Rarities do that to a man.
 
And I do filter it, and too often still see it.

…while they do belong, it seems like a diamond dog would be quite close to “furry” depending on the viewpoint, especially with how some of them are drawn. i mean, one could draw something like this and in some cases get away with it by saying “it’s a diamond dog”.

No offense. I just don’t like how often out of place furry anthro OCs are, when they juxtaposition-ed and/or shipped with FiM Ponies. Care they at least PONIFY your characters before you make them “interact” with  
FiM characters? Or use species that exist or could exist in the FiM environment, before they interact with the Ponies?
 
I also don’t like seeing Ponies being “dominated” by these inferior species. Interspecies, is a out for me.
 
Then again… Who am I to tell artists on what they can and cannot draw? After all, these are only my personal preferences and opinions, not theirs. If an image is well drawn and well received, I’ll try to put aside my distaste and give it my regards. Usually, I keep quiet about this.

I don’t see what the problem is with anthro ponies. The problem I do see is when nonshow anthros show up like a cat banging a pony.
 
Conversely, when I’m looking for horse anthros on FA, I have to wade through a lot of technicolored horses.

Well, some people like anthro’, if they like drawing it, or seeing it, that’s their business. You can just ignore it, or “filter” the anthro’ tags, if you hate it.
 
I admit, I used to not be so keen on anthro’ MLP fanart, but now I like it just as much as any normal quadruped, or humanized pony fanart.
