Which I think would be an interesting dynamic…
 
Both aren’t exactly privaleged ponies. RD and Trixie are both self-trained ponies who rose from very little to become strong. They both have negative aggresive traits as a result of their lonliness, but while RD stayed the course and eventually gained friends, Trixie wasn’t as lucky. Trixie used to be even worse off then Gilda cause she didn’t trust anybody. But now Trixie respects Twilight and the others a little.
 
Trixie’s not somepony who will turn into a saint overnight after ‘Magic Duel,’ she’ll probobly have some moral holes that RD isn’t okay with.
 
Obviously Trixie is trying to gain respect the easy way when the opportunity falls into her lap, ergo the conflict arrises, tempting Trixie back into her own quest for acknowledgement. However she knows the importance of second chances she’s been given, and RD knows when someone is pretending. They have a lot more in common then Trixie thinks, and it may be easier to learn from RD’s positive influence, someone Trixie can relate to, then from someone with a perfect life like Twilight.

Seing how the FF comics that came out so far turned out, i have a feelling that this comic is going to be more along the lines of “how rainbowdash and trixie became friends.”

Crystal Empire and now this? How many new kingdoms are just going to keep popping up? Is this like hurricane season in Equestria or something?

Trixie became a QUEEN… and just look at the projectiles which from her hooves, her long eyelashes and eye shadow…  
Anyone thinks of the “Frozen”?

Finally a comic about Trixie with Dashie,do they sell any copies?

Based on the other cover art, my guess would be she’s somehow tricked her way into ruling over some diamond dogs (if Rarity could do it…). Perhaps Trixie knows that she cannot maintain this act forever and needs Rainbow Dash’s help in escaping?
