The resemblance between these characters is uncanny!
 
  • Both of them are emotional  
  • Both of them are kind, sweet and gentle.  
  • Both of them know when it’s time to be brave (Fluttershy with the CMC and the dragon, Madoka with Sayaka and throwing Hitomi’s ‘ritual pail’ out of the window.  
  • Both of them have special abilities (Madoka’s potential, Fluttershy’s stare).  
  • In the first few timelines, before Madoka became a softer, damsel-y character, she seemed to be a nicer version of assertive Fluttershy.  
  • Both have pink hair.
     
    ALL IN ALL: In some kind of alternate-universe way, these two are related.
