You can blame DeviantArt for that one. Whenever an artist doesn’t allow a normal download of the image but does make the preview size as big as possible, DA hands over a reduced size preview image rather than the largest available.
 
There are ways around this, but DA spends most of its dev time trying to block sites like ours rather than fixing its multitude of issues or doing any kind of sensible moderation, so we have to update our grabber/scraper every week.

Whoever uploaded this did a crappy job of resizing. The source image is like 20x as big, so I dunno why someone would shrink it down this much.
