This is one of those things I’d let go and say for the most part is up to personal preference; it’s quite easy to tell it’s 63!Cadance for the most part even in varying shades of pink.

Some people phrase it with varying degrees of politness, but I think we’re offering critiques on how to improve. We feel it’s more in-character for a rule 63 Cadance to still be Cadance’s color scheme, and I pointed out that it’s possible to genderbend her with those colors and have the result come out well. Take that as you will.

Look, this Crescendo is loosely based on StarryOak’s design. Look it up. I’m sorry, but Crescendo is staying hot pink, and I’m getting really tired of your complaining.
Gleaming Shield is close to the original, but Aegis sounds cool. And I’m surprised no one’s ever come up with Eros.
Personally, I like the name Eros for him. The name of the Ancient Greek version of Cupid and son of Aphrodite. I also prefer the name Aegis for R63 Shining Armor. It fits his special talent and just sounds better than Gleaming Shield.

It can be done as long as you don’t try to make him manly. R63 Cadance works best as a pretty boy prince.
Its funny as Cadence is light pink in the show anyway. Considering hown obsessed bronies are with show accuracy, you’d think they’d at least TRY to stick to it.
Still better than hot pink.
On identical bodies, light pink looks better.
She(he) just doesn’t look right. Not with Cadence’s colours and cutie mark.
Like I said, more subdued shade of pink. Hot Pink doesn’t look good on anyone.
