also the crystal empire is technically in a (ice)desert although the crystal heart reminds me of the one from the episode crunch the rock dog
There’s a lot of parallels between the first G1 series and G4 series in general, in part due to the ‘epic fantasy world’ setting.
I was going for “rainbows of death” as opposed to “death by rainbows”. Should’ve picked better wording there.
Ah well.
