If I remember correctly, he was asked to sample some lemonade they intended to sell but the unholy thing was so sour that he couldn’t open his mouth anymore so they (literally) had to pry it open so he could complain.
 
Actually, they tried twice. The first time Teddy said “Too sour! Add more sugar!” So Ace made another batch with a whole bag of sugar. Then Teddy drank a glass and couldn’t open his mouth, saying through his teeth, “It’s so sweet my teeth are stuck together.” Then Ace and Lancer pried open his mouth.
