I don’t think of this as art theft. You’re giving full credit and a link to the DA gallery. If anything, I think this helps promote the artist.
 
And while I do understand the desire to protect one’s own creation, watermarks don’t accomplish anything except blemish the artwork.
 
A simple URL in the images’ corner could have accomplished the same with less of an intrusion.

I don’t understand these watermark things. How is this supposed to prevent people from sharing it?
 
It’s here on Derpibooru now, so obviously folks aren’t deterred.
