I don’t see how you can deny that Dash, the instigator, obviously got a whole lot more out of this than Fluttershy, the recipient, did.

Eh, I look at the fangs as cosmetic. They were still there at the end of Bats, you recall.
The second panel can’t convey much, since it’s the first instant of contact. And even so, Shy isn’t exactly into it.
As for the rest, well, the artist’s intent and what actually comes off the page are two different things sometimes.
What does the bat thing have to do with anything? What is so interesting about the second panel? And there’s no story, so the rest of the artist’s work doesn’t really pertain to anything.
It’s not interpretation at all. If Shy didn’t mind, this wouldn’t be her reaction.
