There’s no real, canon adult Spike yet.  
He grew by magic once, and looked a certain way.  
He then grew by greed, and looked a completely different way.
 
If both times he had looked the same way, one could argue that it would’ve been his true adult form. But since that’s not the case, then no form can be counted “canon” yet. Which means that if they eventually decide to make Spike grow a little by natural means (time), which would be his canon form, there’s absolutely nothing stopping them from having him look any way they wanted. Which of course, includes him growign wings.

Kilala’s is definetly my favorite version of how teenage Spike should look like by natural growth. If he ever matures to this size in the show, I’d love for him to look just like this.

Well, in most high fantasy settings, dragons can usually take human/elf form at will, however that doesn’t seem to be the case with FiM, well, “popular opinion”seems to have dragon …prongs being thin and pointy at the tip, so if nothing else I’m sure he could get the tip to fit XD
