Trust me, you don’t have to worry about the like, two or three handfuls of Flashlight shippers out there. It’s getting downvoted merely due to Flash’s presence. Go look at any Flash Sentry picture.
She calls him a “lovely pony,” though. The fault is with Twilight here, who says that she can’t enjoy dating (doesn’t enjoy “going through the motions), not anything against Flash. Is that why this is getting down voted so much… vengeful Flashlight shippers? That’s sad.

WHY?
Oh, please. No character has ever been venerated by this fandom, and Flash isn’t a special case. He’s the only canon character that Twilight can be shown to be with who makes sense if an artist or author wants to show her departing from a prescribed course. Flash doesn’t deserve special treatment because he MIGHT be her official love interest.
Poor Flash. He’s treated like Satan, when the worst thing you can say about him was that he had the personality of a wooden log with a guitar.
