I’m pretty sure most of them only follow the fandom while they’re at conventions; they may love the show, but– for VAs at least– it’s one of possibly dozens that they work on in any given year, and it is after all just their day job. It’s why you get a lot more fandom interaction from the staff staff like the writers and board artists; they’re only working on a few shows at a time, and this is the big one.
