Hydra = Add Wings through Magic = King Gidorah.
Have Sunset Shimmer control the Hydra to battle Twilight and Spike, and you have the most epic 4-way battle Equestria would ever see. Impossible as it may be (I know) a season premiere/finale or movie that ends up with the new villian pitting a winged hydra against Spikezilla, while she battles Twilight with magic…would be a dream come true.
The name of the deviation also makes me think of my Equestria at War headcanon, lol.
