People when they first heard about of the Dazzlings: Ugh, they are not the villain type characters. They are just some generic “baddies” in a high school setting.  
People now: BEST VILLAIN CHARACTERS EVER! WE WISH THEY COULD BRING THEM BACK AND NOT GETTING REDEEMED AS GOOD GIRLS.

Indeed. Sometimes people say she was a typical popular high school tyrant, but that doesn’t really cover it. She was a vicious girl on a mission, and no one really liked her except for Snips and Snails, and even they were merely sycophantic. That certainly made her intersting to me as a villain.
 
Will Adagio live up to that? It’s anyone’s guess.

The best part about Sunset Shimmer was the fact that she was actually a talking pony from another dimension who wanted to conquer said dimension. Without that she would’ve been just your ordinary and boring high-school bully. Let’s hope Adagio Dazzle has a good backstory, too, and isn’t more than just a mean girl.
