I always thought that Lovestruck is a changeling in disguise, but she has a defect that keeps her magic green, even when she changes. However, she’s not evil anymore because she wants to win the heart of Cresent Moon, who did something to help her. I don’t know what. Maybe she was left behind when they were all sent flying by the explosion during the Canterlot wedding, or maybe she just got lost, and maybe attacked by something, and he saved her. I don’t know, but that’s just my theory. What do you think? Is this a plot she has to make him fall in love with her, as an inexperienced changeling? :03

Having her as a G4 toy makes her as much a G4 character as… well, any non-show character. There’s a G3 character who looks like her and has a different name, but, well, Applejack looks a whole lot like G1 Applejack. Does that make her not official?

But if she’s a toy, isn’t she canon? Or if not to the show, at least an official G4 Pony?

She’s not an OC, but she isn’t exactly canon in G4 either (although, she is G3; I probably should have tagged it as g3 to g4 first). Her blindbag figure/toy is essentially a recolored Twilight, not unlike other blindbag toys being recolors of other Mane 6 ponies, and that’s what Gameloft did when they introduced her to the citybuilder game:
