What’s your issue with that? I guess it can take you out of the in-show feel a bit, but it is a pretty darn common thing to say generally. She is god of this world in one way already, so why not in a more literal way too?

And then Faust got mentioned as a god and the somber tone was destroyed with a single phrase. Too bad, this was giving me feels up till that point.

Word of advice, convince Celestia to let you integrate yourself with as many processors and network hubs so that Equestria runs on you. THEN, dominate every piece of software and hardware that runs on your OS. Become the Equestrian Master Computer and build a utopia where you can live with all your loved ones forever. And if they get sick, just patch them up with cybernetics and/or bio-engineering.
 
After all, in a world where a computer runs everything, can anything go awry?

I hadn’t thought of the Diamond Anniversary as being Sweetie and Buttons, but that’s really nice. It sounds as if she’s had a full life so far, even if it has been a peculiar and perhaps a sad one sometimes
 
I had figured that by coding, you’d meant a computer coding, which is as fitting a job as you can get for what we’ve seen of Button Mash in-show and in-fandom.
 
As to an upper-thought-threshold for A.I., it’s an interesting theory to speculate on. It’s nice to know that Sweetie is at least cognizant of the possibilities, and thinks often about how precious your standard flesh and blood lifeforms are.
