Yup everyone has a different country they want to support, I happen to support Denmark and Sweden. Also when it comes down to people having different time constraints for watching the Olympics, why can’t different TV channels carry it? It seems to me they want to keep it to their channel and run the commercials.
Anyway, I’m sure that the Equestria Games will be more entertaining, and I for one will be interested in how the Griffins will participate.
Sometimes the Games are held on the other end of the planet and not everyone has DVR.
Though the picking countries part is annoying indeed.
I’m used to our big TV broadcasters screwing up the Olympics, with editing, commentary, commercial breaks, time delays, picking and choosing which country and event to display…
I wish some cable sports channel that can run more than one event on different channels could just run the Olympics live, unedited and no commercial breaks.

Also, if they would show the events independently on the schedule rather than just having a four hour long “WINTER OLYPMICS” block. I’d like to know when I can tune in to watch snowboarding and hockey as opposed to checking back every ten minutes to see if the cross country skiing is finally over.
