You don’t deserve friends if you think so little of them. If you cannot forgive, you are just hurting everyone around you and yourself. You should never just throw an old friend away because you have new ones. Or because even though you can see they are having a hard time and are unhappy, it’s easier to not help them, and instead ignore them.
 
Rainbow Dash is terrible for not forgiving Gilda, and for never trying to talk to her again.
