In the fanfic this is for, which is really worth a read and you don’t have to be hardcore shipper to enjoy, doctors have said she’ll probably be unable to fly, and later there’s a passing mention of dark magic that could probably help her but it’s super illegal and nasty and bad and such. Kinda thing that screams “someone’s gonna try it and bad things will happen but maybe Scoots will fly once it’s all over.”
I’m just worried that the author will end up making Scootaloo’s biological parents win the trial. :(

I’d like to see one that plays with it. Like, the two of them adopt Scootaloo but everything goes to hell because she’s one creepy and deranged little filly or something. Like Good Son: Cupcakes level deranged and obsessively protective of Rainbow Dash.
Like, in this pic, she leans in close to Twilight and whispers “Stay away from my Dashie, or you end up where I buried Lightning Dust.”
